Here is a yummy banana bread recipe to try! If you have kids, get them involved by letting them mash the bananas for a fun activity!
Whole wheat banana bread
– ⅓ cup ghee
– ½ cup honey
– ¼ cup water
– 2 eggs
– 1 cup bananas, mashed
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– ½ tsp salt
– ½ tsp cinnamon
– 1 3/4 whole wheat flour
– 1 tsp baking soda
1. Preheat oven to 325
2. Combine ghee, honey, water and eggs and whisk until well mixed
3. Add mashed bananas, vanilla, salt and cinnamon and stir until combined
4. Lastly, add flour and baking soda and stir just until combined (be careful not to over stir)
5. Bake for 60 minutes, insert toothpick into the top, and it should come out clean if it is done.
6. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack for 30 mins before slicing
