These peanut butter protein balls are a great snack to have on hand at any time during the day. They are so easy to make and the benefit of making them at home is that you know exactly what’s going in them! They are a great example of a snack that combines carbohydrates, protein and fat!
To make, mix in a large bowl:
– 1 1/2 cup oats
– 2 scoops (or 2 servings) protein powder
– 1/2 cup peanut butter
– 1/4 cup honey
– Dash of cinnamon
Separate out into 12 balls
Exchanges for 1 ball: 1 starch, 1 fat, 1 meat
