Oatmeal is a great nutritious breakfast to enjoy in the morning, however some of the instant oatmeal packets can be loaded with added sugars. Try buying old fashioned rolled oats and make overnight oatmeal or this easy stovetop oatmeal that can cook while you are making your morning coffee!
Just put ½ cup of oats in a pot with 1 cup of milk of your choice. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to simmer. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasional. Scrape the oatmeal into a bowl and top with cinnamon, ½ a banana, ½ cup strawberries and 1 Tbsp peanut butter.
