Instead of using marinara sauce, use mashed avocado for the sauce. Consider making it a pesto by adding fresh basil leaves to the avocado spread.

Crust:

1 Flatbread

Sauce

¼ cup avocado (fresh or frozen)

1 tbsp avocado oil

1 clove garlic

1 tsp lemon juice

Water for thinning (if needed)

Toppings:

3 ounces chicken breast, cooked and sliced

¼ yellow onion, sauteed

½ cup fancy shredded mozzarella cheese

In a food processor, process the ingredients for the sauce. Use a silicon brush to spread the sauce onto the flatbread. 

Top with chicken, onion, and mozzarella cheese. 

Follow directions for cooking flatbread.
