If you’re sensitive to dairy, you may be looking for a sweet dairy-free alternative. This dairy-free glaze is made of just two ingredients- cream of coconut and white sugar.

1, 15-ounce can of cream of coconut

⅓ cup white sugar

Directions:

Cream of coconut naturally separates with a fat-rich cream on top and a water-based sugar syrup on the bottom. This separation is even more visible if you chill the can and resist shaking it before opening. Skim off the cream, leaving the syrup. Add the cream to a stand mixing bowl with ⅓ cup of sugar. Beat until stiff.

Exchanges: 2 fat, 1 starch

Serving size 2 tablespoons

Try it on Blueberry Oatmeal Cups. Use oat milk instead of skim milk to keep them dairy-free!
