We’re giving you all the flavor today with this air fryer Cajun shrimp! The old bay less sodium seasoning has just 95 mg of sodium per ¼ tsp which makes it a perfect match for this meal. We really want to aim to keep our total sodium intake at mealtime under 500 mg. Some easy ways to do that include choosing unprocessed or minimally processed foods, reading labels and choosing lower sodium products, cook more at home, and training your taste buds to enjoy foods made with less sodium!
You will need:
– 8 oz cleaned and peeled shrimp
– 1 tsp old bay less sodium seasoning
– 6 oz low sodium chicken sausage
– 1 zucchini, sliced into quarters
– 1 yellow squash, sliced into quarters
– 1 red bell pepper, diced
– ¼ tsp salt
– 2 Tbsp olive oil
1. Place shrimp in a medium bowl and coat with seasoning
2. Add sausage, zucchini, squash, bell pepper, salt, oil and toss
3. In two batches, transfer food to the air fryer and cook for 8 minutes at 400.
